Training at the Martial Arts Centre

We've been working hard behind the scenes to create a safe environment for you to visit and we've made some changes to how we do things. Everyone will have a part to play in keeping our Martial Arts Centre safe, and we'll be asking you follow a few rules too.

We have carried out a COVID-19 risk assessment to ensure we're compliant with Government and Governing body guidelines.

Symptom checks and cleanliness:

Before entering the centre, you’ll be asked if you have any symptoms of COVID-19 or have recently returned from a country where you are currently required to self-isolate. If so, you’ll be unable to enter the centre. Students will be encouraged to sanitise their hands at entrance and additional hand sanitiser units have been positioned at key areas across the club.

Cleaning and disinfecting:

We'll be sanitising equipment and cleaning the entire club before and after each training session.

Social distancing:

You'll see new social distancing signs around the Martial Arts Centre. We're also limiting the number of members in each class and each student has an allocated spacing which ensures the 2m social distancing rules.

Changes to classes:

We're running smaller classes to keep everyone safe and each student is allocated a time slot to ensure everyone is able to participate in their training.

Ventilation:

We have installed professional grade air purifiers to create a clean air environment.

The Air X Pro is a medical grade air purifier and removes 99.9% of all particles, viruses, bacteria and other airborne allergens in a room. Making the room as safe as possible against Covid-19.
