Tetsudo for Children
What could be greater than to be a positive influence in a child’s life?
In Tetsudo we create a safe environment for learning,
where every child is treated as an individual, feels valued and empowered.
When we build for the future we need strong foundations..... By investing in our children, we reinforce those foundations, which allow and encourages them to flourish
We take the principles and philosophy of Tetsudo and with its techniques combine them with positive reinforcement to firstly encourage and develop self-discipline, which in turn creates a respect for others and themselves, building confidence and a feeling of self-worth and high self-esteem
This feeling of high self-esteem unlocks the door which holds many children back and allows them to realise that anything is possible if they set their mind to it
Teaching children is an honour; they are young adults, and our future. Martial arts can and will teach them life lessons. They will quickly learn that to achieve great things in life, you need to work hard ... have strong self discipline... and high self esteem.... this is what we teach and encourage
We have classes for children ages 6+
Tuesdays: 19.00 - 19.45
We hold weekly classes at the Martial Arts Centre in Long Eaton and are suitable for young people from the age of six.
Their sessions are focused on fun, fitness and self discipline, always aiming to reward their efforts and to build their confidence and self esteem.
We offer a 4 week introductory course (£5) which is aimed at finding out if Tetsudo is suitable for your child.
Please call or fill out our online form for availability and further details.
We recognise that as a martial art there are some costs involved to a student who trains in Tetsudo and as a non profit organisation the costs involved are designed to cover the overheads of the association/club(room hire/insurance/etc)

Gi suit prices start from £35 (based on size)
